Remembering Ayutthaya

Ayutthaya is worth remembering, it really is.  I have good memories of this old city of Thailand. I have two friends from Bangkok who show me around and explore its historic ruins, its history, and how it looks at the present time.

Ayutthaya is located approximately 80 kilometres north of Bangkok. History tells us that Ayutthaya was the Thai capital for more than 400 years.  During this period, Thai Culture flourished, and Ayutthaya became a centre for international commerce.

Slovakian castle Krasna Horka on fire

Krasna Horka in Slovakia, a monumental gothic castle in eastern part of the euro-zone nation, is seen on fire today.  The 14th century national monument whose name means "beautiful little hill" towers over the village of Krasnohorske Podhradie near the eastern Slovak town of Rožňava.

According to the information of the Slovak TV news, the fire was possibly started by the ethnic gypsies who lives close to the castle.
