After a hectic year for me and my husband, a trip to Marbella, Spain was very much due.  

From wedding preparations to an unexpected surgery, from selling & buying a house to moving twice and finally settling into married life ... Spain was a great escape.

Our 6-hour bus trip from Madrid to Malaga has given us the opportunity to enjoy the rural & mountainous scenic views.

A new poll from a flight comparison site has revealed the UK airlines with the most attractive airline staff, according to British holidaymakers. ‘Virgin Atlantic’ topped the poll, with Irish airline ‘Ryanair’ coming in last place. 

Virgin Atlantic has topped a poll surrounding the UK’s most attractive airline staff, according to a study from a flight comparison website; pipping the likes of Thomas Cook and easyJet to the post. 

Two smoking Slovak children suspected of burning down Krasna Horka

Two Slovak children were suspected of burning down a large gothic castle, Krasna Horka in eastern Slovakia when their experimentation with smoking went wrong, police said on Sunday.

Police were investigating two boys on suspicion that they set grass at the foot of the Krasna Horka castle on fire on Saturday when they tried to light up cigarettes, said Jana Mesarova, police spokeswoman for the eastern Slovak region of Kosice. Children under the age of 15 cannot be prosecuted in Slovakia.
