In my opinion, the countries who should get the Top 5 Friendliest spots are: (1) New Zealand (2) Canada (3) Australia (4) Malaysia (5) United States. The rankings I have here is based solely on my travel experiences to these countries; pleasing local people, polite, helpful, honest and welcoming.
Take notice of the countries that should also be listed here because of their very friendly people ~ Switzerland, the Philippines, Denmark, Austria, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, Turkey and maybe more.

I haven't been outside of Philippines but I do hope that somehow Philippines will be on this list too. I can't say Philippines is a perfect country.. even though how difficult the economy here is, the people are still friendly nice! :)
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Maria. Filipinos are typically friendly people though at times it is misinterpreted. I know, because I live half of my life in the Philippines. Awesome locals and fun-loving. It's really more fun in the Philippines. Thanks for sharing your views.
DeleteI am South African and have been in the tourism industry for many years. One of the comments always received is how friendly the people are so I must agree. I recently visited Malta Island and would definitely add them to the list.

ReplyDeleteYes, you are right. I have heard a lot of good things about India ~ the scenery and the Taj Mahal in Agra. I definitely agree with you that it can and should be considered one of the friendliest due to its welcoming locals.
