Our friend has been travelling for many years and have started her escapades at the age of 22. She learns the art of video recording to document and share her moments with the world via Youtube. Let's join Andrea as she encounters the challenge on her journey and at the same time making friends with people she meets along the way.

After reading her story, you may be asking why Andrea left her hometown of Napoli and moved to Sydney, where everything is new to her.

But, why did she take the risk?

This site will uncover the truth that could possibly answer some of your questions. The videos that we have here were taken and recorded by Andrea herself as she continue discovering the facts of life in foreign lands.

This is how her travelling started -- Travelling changed her. And...why solo travelling?

Andrea reveals more and more intriguing encounters as you read this article and watch her videos. Read on.....and don't change the channel!

* * * * *

My name is Andrea, 26.

Born and raised in Italy, in the city of Naples. I moved to London at the age of 22 with the hope of finding better job opportunities and spent my four English years just working. I was kind of hoping to settle down with my boyfriend at that time as I thought that was what I needed to be happy.

I was wrong!

Something was not right. I was not happy with my life and I feel that something was missing.

In the early 2016, I decided to cross the globe travelling to Sydney, Australia holding a working holiday visa for a year contract. I left everything I had in London -- my boyfriend, my house and my job. All I have are my clothes and my life packed in a carry-on bag and a luggage.

Different Places - Treasured Moments

I booked a flight and visa two weeks prior to the big move. I was excited -- but scared at the same time as I was about to leave my comfort zone.

Things happened so quickly. I stayed at a friend's house on my first week to get a bit more confident with what it was a new country to me. It was my first time flying in so far away country. The jet lag got me so much that I was feeling frustrated by the laid-back Australian life.

My first experience as an immigrant in Australia was very new to me. As a European citizen, I did not need a visa travelling and staying in England for a longer period. This made me realize the big difference living and working Down Under. I now understood I had to change. I had to work for myself and just let things go.

It worked out at the end and I started loving the Australian lifestyle and the weather. I learned that if you are late, or if something did not go as planned, it is not considered a big deal in this country.

During my stay in Australia, things have gone in a way I never thought it could be possible. I had the chance to travel to Japan visiting my Japanese roommate I met in Sydney.

I then went back to London for just 3 weeks since my parents changed their plan of moving to London and decided to visit me in Sydney instead. I spent Christmas with my parents after four years away from them.

My twelve-month stay in Australia is coming to an end. By then, I have to go back to London -- but before doing so, I have to visit Thailand with a friend coming from England.

My travels will not end here -- just because I am going back to my routine in London. Travelling changed me -- I know my life will not be the same again.
